AI assists with research and summarization on this site. Specifically:

• Summarizing source documents into candidate records
• Classification, topic tagging, and entity extraction
• Record AI, which answers research questions using retrieval over our database with citations

AI does not:

• Publish sensitive claims without human review
• Assign contested promise statuses
• Answer questions from model memory without records to cite

AI-generated summaries are labeled in context, and Record AI answers include the records they are based on so every claim can be checked.
